The Short Version: The Marshall Experimental Company is a not-for-profit theatre and performance art collective based in Oklahoma City. The company is dedicated to generating innovative new works, reimagined old works, and training a new generation of artists in physical ensemble methods. We rely on the support of donors like you to make great theatre happen. All contributions are tax deductible.
Congratulations to The Marshall's Artistic Director, Daniel Leeman Smith, who is now a member of the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab. Daniel is the first Oklahoman, along with Tulsa based director Tara Moses, to become a member of the lab. That's right, there has never been an Okie in all of the LCT Lab's 22 year history...until now. Kudos, Daniel!
The Marshall is excited to launch a series of day long ensemble and performance art intensives in collaboration with visual and performance artist, Valerie Sharp. These Saturday intensives will introduce artists to a new way of working and will focus on the Viewpoints, as expressed by Anne Bogart and the SITI Company, the Suzuki method of actor training, performance art, and Fluxus. The classes will be led by Artistic Director, Daniel Leeman Smith, and Valerie Sharp. Please visit our training page for more information. WE HAVE LOWERED THE PRICE OF REGISTRATION TO $15.
